The Tour Highlight: this 3 day trek with a difference experience as first night stay at lahu village of ban namkhouy and second night sleep in the jungle camp, trek leads deep into the heart of the Nam Ha NPA that the jungle border between Luang Namtha and Viengphoukha district passing through evergreenhighland forest and fog filledvalleys. laern about forest ecosystems, Lahu village experience and the best jungle in northern Laos, Explore the beauty of the Nam Ha National Protected Area, an ASEAN Heritage site, you are going to trek cross the border of two difference city on this tour.

Day 1(4-5 hours, easy to moderate)

Day 1: Luangnamtha-NamHa Protected Area-Ban Namkouy (start at 9 Am and arrive at the village about 3 Pm) we meet at 9 Am at the office for departure by drive to Prang village, we meet our village-based guide, who will lead you on the short walk around the village to laern about the Khmu's lifestyle and culture that from Luang Namtha town is 34 Km. From here, we embark on a hike through upland rice field, following the same path traveled daily by local on their way to work and we trek deep in to Nam Ha Protected Area. The guide explain about medicinal plants, traditional forest use and point out wild animal tracks. we arrive at a stream, where we have a Lao-style picnic lunch. We continue our trek after lunch. The final lleg of the trail passes through the nice jungle and reaches a panoramic viewpoint which overlooks Nam Ha NPA; Arriveal at Ban Nam Khouy in the late afternoon, a Lahu village nestled in the hills. We have dinner with villagers and stay overnight in the eco-lodge.(There are 17 families with 11 Houses still live in the NPA). Bedding and mosquito nets will be provided by the family. the sleep arrangement will be dormitory style on the floor with mattress of the villager's home.

Day 2 (4-5 hours, moderate) Day 2: Ban Namkhouy-jungle camp. After sharing early in the morning meal with our village hosts, from the hilltops, we enjoy panoramic views of the NPA qiet because still a lot of monkey,wild pigs and varity kind of birds. stay at the comfortable jungle camp up high at 1600 meters, built buy Khmu locol villagers from Ban Khousoung. There will be de licious traditional meal with some vegetables and spices we collect with the help of the local guide. Sit around campfire lintening to the sound of the jungle at night.

Day 3 Junle camp-Luang Namtha (4-5 hour.moderate) After breakfast we continue to walk to Ban Khousoung depending on villages turn, another Khmu village. we have picnic lunch along the way, see some amazing along the way and we do short stops to take a break somewhere and learn about plants, tree fruits and animals from the local quide. The Minivan will wait for us at the village, where the trekking end, drive to Luangnamtha.

What to bring?
Hat, bandana, sunscreen, clothes and shoes to get wet, mosquito repellent, change of clothes, warm clothes for the evening (Nov-Mar), sarong for bathing, rain jacket, (if wet season), flashlight, towel, money to buy handicrafts and extra drinks.
